What is Contact?
When parents separate or families breakdown, children can often find themselves in a situation where they may have no contact whatsoever with one of their parents or their relatives.
This can be due to difficulties which arise at the time of exchange of children between parents, grandparents or relatives. Other times, there may be concerns about the visits themselves.
The GCCC offers separated families a way to deal with some of these problems, by providing a safe, neutral space where children can meet parents and relatives they don’t live with.
